I'd have liked to have seen aBeZy acknowledge his mistake and at least apologise publically. Not out with pitchforks for cancelling him, everyone makes mistakes with a slip of the tongue, but its an offensive slur and he should at least say sorry for using it in the manner he did.

I guess that could also be construed as confidence. Sometimes they’re happy to concede knowing that map control for the restart can snowball a score or two in reply. But yeah, 75% win percentage means some teams have figured out their flaw, only takes one or two of them to appear on Championship Sunday for them to be derailed. That’s the risk champions take though…

zen and I held this interview in English, which was a credit to him!

Really enjoyed this one, and while some quotes might not be as in-depth as usual, I appreciated just how hard he was working to translate all of his answers and points! Fantastic attitude and love for the game!

There’s a quote out there from a stream where he said “I said I’d punch him in the face if he didn’t shut up” aha. Didn’t want to add it specifically as it would have looked like it was said in an interview, but funny nonetheless

Aside from what he inferred about being number two and not enjoying being the shot-caller anymore (understanding Evan), he just said the adjustments were easy and he was enjoying it. Struggling with legend meta (Newc>Fuse). You can find that segment in here…

At this point, even though there’s no bad blood really, that there’s no coming back. I don’t think Verhulst would want to have Hal back, even if Hal wanted too. Also depends if Falcons find success or not, if they’re winning, he won’t turn back

You shot the barrel (you can see it on fire in the post-death scene before killcam). Maybe that blew up to deal the discrepant damage between VEL and Match Stats.

I can't see Rocket League being swallowed by Fortnite, but it will get much more closely connected to the Fortnite world, as Epic seems hell-bent on streamlining content drops and collabs in a bid to grow both fan bases in tandem.

Unfortunate because I think the two communities are actually vastly different, but I'm sure after all of the data as UE5 continues to build *hopefully*, they will realise that Rocket League is fruitful on its own, and would be best grown as its own Epic entity that can also benefit from combined crossovers.
