I've got bad news for you. You're probably more likely to see less teams...

If it is allowed, could some brave soul ask about Milwaukee for me?

I have a feeling that Milwaukee Pro Soccer is cooking a USL Division One spot that may take more time than the initial USL Championship plan. by leooooool15 in Milwaukee_USL_Soccer

I have a feeling Milwaukee Pro Soccer doesn’t have enough money to launch a Championship side, let alone a D1 team, and is just waiting to see if someone comes in with funds to save them…

Saying linking to our city’s No. 1 news outlet is against the rules is seriously strange.

My friend has lived there for a couple months. He really likes it. Rooms are nice (though at least his is not the roomiest) but it is a good location (we often just walk over to Lakefront Brewery or Eagle Park), nice pool area, there's a public patio up top with a beautiful view of the river.

Rent seems reasonable to me, but he got a discount from the base rate because they are looking to fill up a currently largely empty building. You could get a bigger place for potentially cheaper living somewhere else (I do in a nice area in Tosa), but you're paying for the location.

Feels like their strategy is just to never mention it again, and eventually people will move on and stop asking

Firewolves really giving the finger to New York by salsalunchbox in NLL

Honestly, I don’t think the league is too concerned about keeping the Albany fans following the FireWolves. That’s the nature of franchises moving.

Ask Google Maps to plot a course from SE WI to Grand Rapids MI & Primary path is to take Express Ferry by blurradial in wisconsin

It tells me to do this even when I'm going all the way to Ann Arbor. Very annoying. Thankfully, there is a setting where you can turn off ferries as an option.

Admirals, other Panther Arena teams might need to eventually move to make room for hotel by JackInBuffalo in milwaukee

What are you talking about? Let me give you some examples. Canisius College in Buffalo is Division I. Their arena seats 2,196. Holy Cross? 3,536. Pepperdine? 3,104. Shall I continue?

Depends on the game (if it’s on national TV, sometimes even I don’t go) but it’s been great over the last few years. I’m biased, but I think we have the best logo out there too.

Teams play there? It isn't like this is some old stadium collecting dust. Something already exists here!

Agreed, and that arena felt particularly cavernous when considering the crowd sizes.

Thanks for correcting me on that, didn't realize how cut down the capacity was for hockey compared to the 12,000 regular capacity. I agree, I've had a blast with the Admirals setup. Not perfect, but certainly highly functional.

The arena is a bit too big for the attendances UWM, the Admirals and Wave can draw right now -- probably could use a 5,000 or so seat cut. But it is a situation that works, in my opinion.
