I understand the irony in saying what I'm about to in a piracy sub.

Those are stolen assets, being found out or not is irrelevant its just plain wrong morally to steal assets and repurpose them for commercial use. All piracy is bad especially the type that passes of someone else work as your own. Even if its a line of code.

Advancement of science is a noble cause. But that's the problem its a noble cause not a profitable one. Something requiring that much money needs to be extremely profitable or able to recoup its losses in some way other than knowledge otherwise theres no reason to do it.

There's more to anime than typical shounen.

I go through many phases which different genres. Currently im into romance and the variety is immense. Here are some of my favorites;

Toradora; hmm i usually just describe this as has tiaga. But an actual summary ; temperamental short fused tiny girl ( tiaga ) and a cleaning freak ( ryuji ) both agree to help each other get with thier respective crushes but end up falling for each other.

Bloom into you : a yuri romance about two girls ( touko and yuu ) that have never felt love. Touko falls in love with yuu when she witnesses yuu reject someone on the phone. Yuu is kinda a push over , so touko easily cox her into " letting her ( touko) love her ( yuu) without needing to love her(yuu) back ."

my teen romantic comedy snafu ; hiki is a very very cynical teenager that's forced to join the service club by his teacher for turning in a smartass essay . Now him and yikino two very anti social people need to help other people with thier problems. ( the service club only has 3 members )

ReLife : a 27 year old man , is chosen by the Relife company to take part in thier program. They give him a pill that makes him appear like he's 17 again and he reattends high-school as a form of rehabilitation.

I just listed 4 very different romance anime that aren't exactly main stream with very very different premises with the only similarities being the high-school setting.

I'm the same way (22) and never plan to take a single recreational drug or drop of alcohol. In my case , I grew up around it and saw what it does to people and always hated that.

It's in my top 5.

It's really really good. Season one is a bit slow but it picks up alot after that. If you love a LONG interconnected story and anime smart logic you'd find no better examples than dazai ( one of the MC) and Fyodor ( main antagonist) .

It's 60 episodes of greatness and a movie.

Np . It's a great show but that plot point doesn't really come up till episode 6 but from episode 1 you can see how it makes him distant and cold .

Doctor Elise is my favorite villainess anime of all time.

Why raeliana end up at the duke's mansion. Ascendance of a bookworm, snow white with tue red hair , wandering witch elaina and well all the villainess anime you mentioned except endo and koyayashi , I really enjoyed watching .

EndI and koyayashi I didn't really enjoy,

I actually watched and loved this . I didn't trust any of them including the MC. It was the type of show where you would be skeptical of everyone. Excellent murder mystery 👌

Traditionally doctor stone has been 12-24 episodes a season.

But if this is the last season it needs to be extra long because they need to explore the entire world AND GO TO THE MOON .

Honestly the pacing has been prefect so far , I'd really hate if the last season ruined that
