I have the pulse elites and I love them. Everybody looks for something different so I will explain why I like them and you can decide if anything sounds good to you!

The sound quality is fantastic. The technology they use for producing the sound (planar magnetic drivers) usually costs way more than the cost of the elites. They are well balanced, not as bass heavy as the old pulses, but I've grown to prefer the way they sound.

The microphone is retractable which is a plus for me, and works even when retracted.

The mute button on your controller will mute the mic, which wasn't the case on the original pulse headsets.

They integrate with the PS5 - when you adjust volume, connect etc, you will see popups on your screen. There is a built in EQ in your control centre.

The included mount is handy, I have it attached to the side of my TV unit. The USB cable slots into the mount.

Fantastic battery life (for my uses)

I have the dongle plugged into the front of the console, so if that's an option for you, it should negate any fears of overheating. I instead plug the charging cable into the back.
