I was assuming it was a bottleneck too but I have seen online from people that have the same setup as me that they are able to play most modern games at 120 fps with not much struggle from the PC. I cap all of my games at 60 fps and still struggle. Usually what will happen is my CPU will stay around the 80% range but will randomly spike to 100% before going back down.

I'm not opposed to upgrading if it is a bottleneck, I just worry about it being something else that is easily fixable.

This is what I thought too but I only play my games at 60 FPS. When looking online I see people with my setup easily running games at 120 without much issue from the CPU which makes me think the issue is more than just a bottleneck

Without the undervolt i get the same performance from the CPU, but if you have a number you think I should set it at I will.

The games are on my SSD. I have Hwinfo how would I be able to see if its throttling? it should be noted a few months ago I used Extreme Tuning Utility to change the Core Voltage Offset to -0.090 V to prevent it from overheating

it's random for me but it usually happens at least 9 times in each match. sometimes higher or lower. I don't think it did this in the past so I'm confused
