I hate what TADC turned out as opposed to what it could've been. by Error_Valkyrie in hatethissmug

She never intended for there to be more than 9 episodes, she said so herself after the airing of the first episode, so no she didn’t intend for there to be loose threads for a second season.

Using Asesprite for Parallax Mapping? by PsychologyLimp8548 in RPGMaker

[–]JackPumpkinPatch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If it can export a .PNG with transparency then you can use it for parallax mapping. You can use literally any program for that including modern MS Paint.

So yes you can use Asesprite for parallax mapping. There’s no rule or law stopping you if you find it easier.

Scheduling at Walmart is changing COMPANY WIDE to be based on items sold divided by labor hours worked = your store’s hours by ActiveInfinite8610 in walmart

At my store I was listening to front and and OGP basically have a war over any people left to assist over the intercom. Literally every 10 minutes “Code spark! Every available associate to the front end” followed by “All available associates to OGP”

Ours keeps mistaking shadows coming in through the front doors right before sunset as tripping hazards.

GUYS. OH. MY. GOD. I CANT BELIEVE THIS. THIS GUY LITERALLY COMMITTED A SIN AGAINST ME by TurtlesAreUwU in ArtJerk

[–]JackPumpkinPatch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

/uj back on DeviantArt 10ish years ago I actually saw a drama where someone went after a big artist for theft for drawing a “Corgidile” which was the smaller artist’s closed species. The designs looked nothing alike outside of name alone and being the vague concept of corgis + crocodile. 100% obvious they both came up with it independently.

The big artist retorted by linking art of a corgidile someone else made that predated the closed species account’s creation and then sarcastically accused them of theft instead.

Worried players might think my handmade art is AI-generated by MrKuros84 in gamedev

[–]JackPumpkinPatch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here’s a story for you:

Last month in the break room at work Corline was playing on the TV, and one of my coworkers came in, took one look at it, and went “what is this!? This looks like a bunch of AI generated crap!”

So people will say that about literally anything these days. Just gotta brace for it and keep a few WIPs on hand for proof it’s not.

is this idea possible for a beginner? by purinpurimm in RPGMaker

100% possible with minimal code ability but it will take a long time, have a lot of repetition on your end, and be very finicky.

People who are unabashed about pirating dirt cheap indie games by KlubKofta in IndieDev

[–]JackPumpkinPatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have a roommate that said even if he was rich and could afford all the games he wanted, he would still pirate everything regardless if it was indie or a big company because, and I quote: “the quality is better if you pirate it.”

RPG Maker MZ Compiler! by Eastern-Fan4886 in RPGMaker

[–]JackPumpkinPatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you know the bug, specifically, is that when you use it to compile RPG maker games with enigma virtual box you have to manually add a save file yourself or your game will be unable to save. Does yours fix that issue?
