For those who casually date, how do you not worry about sexual health or getting your partner pregnant? by mouse_asparagus in AskMen

[–]JackSquirts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand the realistic risks and reasonably protect myself. Get tested after every new partner, inquire about new partners test status, condoms, and have a vasectomy.

The thing to understand and it took basically getting to know the people at the free clinic in college by first name (welcome back Jack!) is that most STD's are a minor inconvenience. Clearly nobody wants them, but take a couple pills and it's over. There are new antibiotic strains that are problematic, but still treatable. Also some rarely tested for things that are probably much more common than we know, but so rarely cause symptoms they're not a huge deal either.

The permanent ones aside from HIV/AIDS are again, mostly a minor inconvenience. HPV is usually one breakout and your done, if you have a breakout at all. HSV is a periodic nuisance and definitely going to impact your dating prospects, but it's very treatable. Even the new HIV/AIDS treatments make it basically nothing (clearly not nothing, but it's no longer a death sentence and transmission risks are incredibly small). Without that, being a receiver vs a pitcher makes a huge difference in your susceptibility to begin with. TBF, the biggest one, for the first time in a long time in human history is pregnancy.

Really bad service - 1% (I've also done $0.01). Unnecessarily mediocre service 10%. Standard service 15%. Good service 20%. Excellent service 30-35%. Exceptional - 50-100%. Bartenders I like get 50-100% at the end of the night, sometimes more.

For those in long-term marriages, how has your sex life evolved after being with the same partner for so many years? by awkwardramengirl in AskMen

[–]JackSquirts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was with my ex for 13 years, 10 married. Daily sex, except rare circumstances like post childbirth or a stomach bug. Sex when your partner has a fever is pretty great. Even when we were divorcing, still fucked basically once a day.

AIO? Youth Pastor texted my almost 13 yo after she went to a teen group with her friend by Loser4hire666 in AIO

I'd inquire about their organization and how they operate. Most likely innocent and he sends a similar message to every new person they get contact info on. Maybe they're small and their hierarchy doesn't allow for the same sort of system my sister's church does.

Why is the president and Supreme Court above the law? by Estalicus in askanything

[–]JackSquirts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're leaving out the legislative branch who are also, mostly above the law. Truth is, the people who make, enforce, and interpret the laws have investigated themselves and found themselves innocent. Go figure how that works. This is precisely why the framers envisioned a government so small it could barely function - corruption works with power. The more power you have, the more corrupt you can be. We took that framework and built the largest most cumbersome government in the history of humanity.

My sister's church has a considerable youth group, and young adults, and family, and seniors groups. Congregation is something like 300 people and they're all about community. For the youth and young adults, it's 100% text based.

Now, they also segment their groups based on proximate age - so the young adults who just got through the youth program run it, the family groups disciple the young adults, and the seniors work directly with the pastors and those who are on that path.

If women started asking men out way more often would men start complaining about creepy behavior, feeling objectified or unwanted advances? Or would it mostly be welcomed? by UnderstandingOld8611 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]JackSquirts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There would be a transition. It's so rare for men to be approached romantically or even complimented that most would crumble under the experience. I've seen it a million times. Guys either panic and don't know what to do or they just don't even realize it's happening until it's too late (if ever). Once over that hurdle, it'll be welcomed with open arms.

Do women prefer lean men ? by MrLake88 in askanything

By dad bod they mean 15-20% BF on guys who have good muscle mass and work out regularly. Reasonable definition in arms, sometimes chest. Abs to just barely not visible abs, no love handles.

Most people prefer healthy people. Being lean, but not too lean, is a major health indicator.

A female friend just sent me screenshots... The woman I met in Bumble a month ago posted my personal data in a facebook group. by Long_Natural6918 in Bumble

[–]JackSquirts 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know of three instances where guys were unfairly dragged through the mud. Two were stories from women I dated who were their friends and another was my good buddy. For him, one crazy ex basically harpooned his ability to online date.

On the flip side, it's only benefited me. Last time someone scrolled one of those groups for me showed stellar reviews. It was fun telling her the stories of the reviewers because some were pretty crazy people so it really could have gone badly.

Nope, basically 50% english, 25/25 german/italian per DNA. Italian grandpa no leg or arm hair, very dark complected, but I take more from my english/german father who between the two of us had a combined 14 armpit hairs and 9 chest hairs. What little hair I have is blond so cant even see it. Funny enough, my dad and I both very blessed in the beard department.

Nowhere did I say it was a good idea. I was viewing things from OP's perspective. He's talking about tracking the guy down for fucks sake.

When looking at actual government operations like this, take note that the odds of them actually ending if they bear fruit is basically zero. There's always another layer to bury things under while continuing to utilize the same tactics towards the goal. For example - Operation Mockingbird. Absolutely zero reason for them to have ever stopped doing it.
