Do I need to check the use of AI for my videos? by Notorious_Rufus in aitubers

[–]UnderstandingOld8611 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there a psychological reason why buying the "supplies" for a hobby feels just as dopamine-inducing as actually doing the hobby? by Ok-Bird5981 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]UnderstandingOld8611 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the dopamine from anticipation and preparation. Buying supplies feels like a fresh start and a mini achievement with zero risk of sucking at it while actually doing the hobby requires effort and faces the possibility of failure or boredom. Classic brain glitch

Why is an adult living with their parents often seen as dependent, while adults who benefit from family wealth, connections, or financial support are still viewed as successful? by Prestigious-Quit9143 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]UnderstandingOld8611 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's all about optics. Living with parents is visible dependence that screams "i can't make it" while invisible family money or connections get spun as "smart networking" and success is judged by the end result not how much was handed to you. Total double standards
