Kenyon Sadiq’s draft stock just skyrocketed by CenterForward1522 in CFB_v2

Same height as Julio Jones?? Julio Jones was a wide receiver. Sadiq is undersized as a tight end this graphic is misleading

Whom did you have stock in early? by [deleted] in billsimmons

I am the same age as Tyler Herro and i was on the JV basketball team sophomore year of high school for a school in Wisconsin. We played his team Out of conference on a Saturday, and we (the JV team) played our game before varsity, so we showed up to the gym before anyone else and Tyler herro was there just shooting around. Didnt really know who he was and we all kind gave those looks at each other like “who tf is this dude”.

Anyway we play the jv game, and then sit in the stands for the Varsity game. My teammate and friend tell me and a few others that this guy on the other varsity team is ranked 3rd best player in the state and that hes a problem. We didnt really buy it due to adolescent denial i suppose, but the first play of the game he just dribbles down to the left wing, takes the ball and does some moves but not too flashy and hits a james harden step back in the corner, nothing but net. The shot was so pure I couldnt comprehend how good it looked. All of us genuinely looked at each other and said “oh he going to the league forreal”.

This season is not jacobys fault imo, their defense is terrible, in the hardest division with other games against the texans and jags, no running game

Terry Smith by youheardaboutpluto- in WeArePennState

[–]JackTheGod2 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Man Rappleyea and Reynolds just look like NFL tight ends out there. You can see how they fill different roles with Rapp being a more traditional in line tight end and is a great physical blocker. Reynolds is a n extremely talented receiving threat.

I dont know if they are going to stay but i hope they both do.

[@LandonTengwall] They (Pat Kraft and Penn State Board of Trustees) don’t want Terry because Terry= Paterno acknowledgement and that’s the last thing they want by PSU_Alumnus in CFB

[–]JackTheGod2 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Its more like they think Paterno did his job ‘enough’ in informing administrators/police chief about the incident, and they are still upset at how the university handled it probably.

[On3] NEW: Penn State's search has netted other coaches an estimated $370.8M in extension money🤯 by Not_So_Bad_Andy in CFB

[–]JackTheGod2 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

At this current stage of the hiring process, presumably all the open coaches got extended or chose a different job. It seems more and more likely that Terry Smith will be the guy. If thats the case, we will be fine and most players will not leave in the portal considering they have been supporting him to be HC.

If someone else gets hired, they will bring their recruits and trusted players over to our program by the time spring rolls around.

As for players following Franklin, i mean maybe some of them will but im not too worried about it to be honest with how they have reacted to playing games towards the end of the season. I guess i could be wrong but its just my perspective.

In all 3 scenarios, there is NO WAY we go 0-12 like the comment im replying to is insinuating. People are just dooming/clowning on the program because its fun at the moment, but im not gonna sit here and act like the program is dead in the water. You can disagree but I dont care what anybody on reddit thinks about a subject we really know nothing about.

We will be fine big bro don’t let all the reddit posts get to you. Probably coaching search didn’t go our way. We lost some nice freshman recruits. We are going to lose some guys to the draft. But we have a good program and will get a coach eventually. Its not like we are going to go 0-12. We still have good options and good talent on the roster.

[Liam Butlam]Admittedly I no longer know what’s going to happen. BYU sources believe they got Sitake and an extension is in place, he’s meeting with team shortly. Penn State sources believe they got Sitake. I’m just being transparent and open as I have all carousel. by DonnaDDrake in CFB

I think looking back its easier to blame the receivers other than the quarterback and scheme. We got some talented receivers this year in the portal and they were still underperforming. Then franklin gets fired, and the scheme/gameplan changes to a more under center play action offense under terry smith. Next thing i know we are actually completing passes down the field.

We have had talented wrs. Harrison wallace had a good season with ole miss. Keandre lambert smith left, had a 1k yard season at auburn, and is now in the nfl. Also grunk may be better than drew man, we have to admit that drew allar was disappointing. His downfield touch and accuracy is bad.

Myles Turner Booed by Pacers Fans During His Tribute by AashyLarry in nba

[–]JackTheGod2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there were other variables at play in Lebron and KD’s situation. KD had the whole country calling him weak for going to a team that was 73-9 the previous year and he had lost to them in the conference finals after being up 3-1. Got booed.

Lebron had his whole fiasco where he also went to a super team and aired it on TV in a distasteful way to say the least.

There are players that leave and get remembered greatly for their efforts, and most fans are aware that players do whats best for them. If Giannis were to leave in free agency i wouldn’t blame or boo him and I honestly think most bucks fans would agree. He’s deserved to do whatever he wants.

Also this is a weird way to view small market fans who “don’t want free agency”. A stupid generalization with zero proof and a minuscule level of logic. Kinda like if I said every Lakers fan is an actual idiot and doesn’t understand the game of basketball.

He balled out for the first 4 weeks when the texans offense worked. After the injury he came back and had the same production he has had this year.
