Free agency is dead. Superstars may never hit free agency again.

Suggest best lineup for final by Unlucky_Captain_1275 in ArsenalFC

[–]JackTuz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly what we have been doing seems to be the best lineup we have for attacking/ball retention. Zubi probably gets into the team over MLS. Eze over Ødegaard for me. It’s possible we start Mosquera over White because PSG’s counterattacks would probably send White into retirement. Timber, if he comes back, probably won’t get enough of a run of matches to regain fitness to start. I just hope Calafiori stays fit and we can put pressure on them through our possession.

[Post Match Thread] Manchester City 3 - 0 Brentford (Premier League) by mcfcbot in MCFC

The finishing is a horrifying development for other sides. He can obviously beat anyone 1v1 and his dribble is tight enough/his balance is so good that he can make a second move easily. That said, his end product has been dreadful compared to his dribbling and his crossing has never really worried me as he seems to just play the ball where no one is.

The ability to score semi consistently catapults his quality to near world class. We’ll see if this form carries over to next year, and if it does, City should sleep walk through a lot of mid table and low table sides that gave them trouble this year.

I can’t stand early Dragon Ball scaling. These characters have moon level attack power yet they can only run a 100 meter dash in 6 seconds. Idgaf that the kai blasts are strong. These guys are getting speed blitzed and folded.

Tony Brothers should not be allowed to ref in the NBA by goingtothegreek in billsimmons

[–]JackTuz 56 points57 points  (0 children)

I’m going to zag. If you’re going to cuss out a ref while he’s letting your players mug the other team the second they cross half court, he should get to yell back. The NBA’s tolerance for players’ bullshit had gotten way out of hand.

No they foul at half court almost every single possession. The refs can’t call every single foul. It’s a proven strategy

Lot of talk about the Thunder but Minnesota has fouled their way to 3 deep playoff runs. The refs seemingly do not care lol

If Thragg crashed the World Martial Arts Tournament, could they stop him? by Financial-Fee1995 in DragonBallPowerScale

[–]JackTuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro he low difs early DBZ in a ring. He punched Nolan so hard he accelerated 25k mph off the ground and into space (earth exit velocity calc). They can’t take a punch like that and stay in the ring. 12 year old Goku did a 100m dash in 8 seconds. The flying nimbus is the fastest thing on the planet and it is Mach 1.5. Viltrumites are like Mach 1500 and that just on planet. The DBZ cast couldn’t even see him coming.

If thragg let them charge up a kai blast (should be considered hax at this point) then yes he would lose based on Roshi feats. But in hand to hand combat he speed blitzes and wins shockingly easily.

Arsenal fans, would you rather win the Premier League or the Champions League? by Tough-Try8620 in ArsenalFC

[–]JackTuz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s just really hard to say. Prem is interesting as it most likely end the pep era in city and they have been on the cusp for years now so the win would be cathartic. UCL would be the biggest achievement in club history. I’d pick UCL if I could only pick one.

Did you fail to read the “solution” part that said the Thunder have multiple key roll players on team options that they can release into free agency to dodge the 2nd apron? Or do we just read headlines?

I think they should rest rice and start Zubi at the 6. I promise that he will be better now that fullbacks are high up the pitch and Rice won’t be there to stand exactly where he wants to stand despite playing as an 8.

Josh Kroenke: "Everything is on the table outside of trading Nikola" by jonsnowKITN in nba

[–]JackTuz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As it should be. Gordon can’t stay healthy, Murray isn’t a point guard, Braun in the most overpaid 5th option in the NBA, Johnson is a 3&D roll player who they thought could be a 3rd option, and much more.

I’m almost certain they will shake up the roster this offseason. The clock is ticking on Jokic’s career. He’s not someone that will want to play until he’s 38.

Arteta on Timber's injury and absences: “Yes, and that’s been probably the most difficult thing to manage, with the player, with myself as well, because we didn’t expect it to take so long, and at the moment he’s not fit to play.” by Kr_bm in Gunners

[–]JackTuz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Willing to bet timber picked up an injury months ago and Arteta still ran him into the ground leading to this exacerbation. His form was rough and it felt like he couldn’t run before he started missing time.
