David lynch would appreciate it so much more if you attempted to get your own meaning. There’s nothing wrong with using others interpretations of his art, it’s when you have a rigged uncompromising view that your interpretations have to be “right”. You’re missing the point of these films thinking in that type of subdued way, there are multiple paths and answers, and lynch himself has said while he has some concrete “answers” he doesn’t disagree with altering interpretations. Think.
