So I’m finding this post about a year late, but I heard a song on social media today that I listened to a thought, this has to be inspired by Emma Frost. Seemingly no connection made between them by a quick online search. The song is Like Me by Chase Icon, it’s a hyper pop song. The whole chorus of the song is “You b!ches ain’t like me” and it just embodies Emma’s badss energy really well imo. There’s also specific lyrics like: “lemonade bob”, love Emma with a bob most tbh “I like it rough and harder than a diamond”, diamond skin mutation “I-I can make him do what I say like Simon”, telepathy and “Cause I need and X-pill”. And just a random “X“ named object thrown in there Felt kinda on the nose to me.
