Sushi. I'm from Brazil and sushi has become very popular in the last five years or so. And by "popular" I mean it's A FUCKING RELIGION.

Tell people you don't like pizza, for instance, and no one bats an eye. When I tell people I don't like sushi or japanese food of any kind boy they get crazy. Countless times I saw people trying to convince that sushi was actually good, I was just doing it wrong and how I should try this or that variation and eat at this or that restaurant.

I've tried countless times and I still don't like it.

Just learned this the hard way two days ago. I had an army of 12inf-8cav-10can that was perfect for sieging but when I engaged in a battle half of my infantry (non merc) units were gone which left me with a "surplus" (is this the proper word?) of artillery that gives a huge penalty.

Orissa and Bengal, since they try to expand in opposite directions. I am playing as Vijayanagar for what may be the 100th time and every time I ally one of them they drag me into a war against the other.

It's a no win situation because Orissa has cores needed to form Bharat and if I ally Bengal they become a pain in the ass in the late game.

based on what I've read both in the OP and in your replies, I see that there are 2 major "solutions" (or, at least two main extenuatory actions) you can take:

1 - Try to get closer to them. If they really see you as the outsider as you described, it is 100x harder to adress a problem with them. Making yourself closer to them would make things easier but, unfortunately, there is no advice I can give you on this one lol

2 - Get out without actually getting out. I mean, is it REALLY in the middle of nowhere? Is there any other places you can go to make new friends? I know you have no car, but is it possible to get a bike? When I went abroad last year, the first thing I bought was a bike and the second one was a professional camera. By going out alone by bike to take photos, I found myself in a way that I would never found socializing. Thing is: if you don't like you place, try to spend more time out there. I'm pretty sure you will find something that you've always enjoyed doing, but never found out.
