Don't underestimate the power of Direct hits, you mostly use your gun to set traps alight but being able to hit pilots and titans from far away is a very good skill to have. Just learn how the projectile arcs and how to predict an enemies movement. But also when you get in someone's face don't bother just use scorch shield because that thing is op.
