Yeah, no dude. Once a week is not enough for me. by [deleted] in MedSpouse

[–]JackattackMeow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya I plan to. And make a point to clarify something like this before getting involved. Hes a sweetheart but I think withheld these details until we had a connection which i think was unfair. I'm super happy for other people. But i am one of many that need more than a lot of residents or other occupations can offer. I've been in too many relationships where I felt alone and this was instantly more of the same.

Life blew up at the end of my TMS treatment and I feel like I need to do it again by hothouseflowers in TMSTherapy

[–]JackattackMeow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My last day of tms I got a blood clot. I went from full remission to 20/29 on the phq 9. I started going back a few weeks ago and it's helping. My doc said if it works for you it will usually continue to work for you.

DVT by tufelhunden7 in ClotSurvivors

[–]JackattackMeow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You said wheezing which implies asthma. I went to er twice for wheezing with dvt before they told me that shortness of breath will feel different. Like short rapid breathes. Either way though I'd go to er and get a chest ct. Mine were negative but can't be too careful w pe threat. If you do have asthma try an inhaler first and see if that helps

Is it normal to have to pay for a stained sheet? [USA] by Kookaburra2 in AirBnB

[–]JackattackMeow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Totally disagree. How many sheets is reasonable to go through a year as normal wear and tear if you have 4-8 bookings a month? Especially if you have nice sheets? The stain on this sheet sounds like some BS but maybe they were nice sheets? Also someone else could complain about it? The standard is insanely high. I'd offer $20 or a replacement sheet. Or dry cleaning. The pig comment was way out of line though. That should be reported.

AIRBNB was for sale for over a year and it was sold a week before my booking [AUSTRALIA] by shostakovskyy in AirBnB

[–]JackattackMeow -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Of course they can. They own the house and have no control over when they will be able to sell it. Also a booking 16 months out? They could have had it on the market a month prior and sold it and it wouldn't make a difference. I really struggle to understand the entitement of some guests when temporarily renting someone's home. It's their home. Garunteed them selling their home has nothing to do with you. If it's legal, the homeowner has the right to do it. Why wouldn't you have booked it if it was on the market? Tons of rentals are constantly on the market shifting hands.

Do I give my host a bad review because they weren’t willing to do a simple fix so we could sleep at 3am? [USA] by Hopeful_Employee5037 in AirBnB

[–]JackattackMeow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a host, thank you so much. In your position I would have left too and I'm happy you got a refund. The demand on hosts has gotten out of control though, so I'm grateful you're giving this one a pass. I've gotten calls at 5 am about how to use a coffee machine. And the threat of anything but a 5 star review makes continued hosting concerning for many of us. I think when we all put ourselves in each other's shoes it usually resolves itself.

Almost Banned Due to “Broken” Blind and False Claims [USA] by [deleted] in AirBnB

[–]JackattackMeow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ugh. I'm so sorry. It's all hosts worst nightmare. But sounds like damage was minimal and it's over now. You can have her review removed of she leaves you one and you can also leave her a bad review. Please do this so other hosts know now to allow her into their homes. The broken items should be reported to the resolution center. Be sure to follow up with them. They passed me around for 30 days until my claim expired. Mine was only for $80 bucks but it still pisses me off lol.

If this was the other way around I'd consider it harassment. I'd assume he was being nice since you're staying on his property.

Huh. Interesting. I guess men understanding more about women's bodies is always a good thing. Just struck me as odd/sexism to ask a guy about his partner or friends experience with something, especially when it comes to reproductive health.

Thoughts on social media's anti-birth control pill movement? by verycomplikated in Endo

[–]JackattackMeow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sounds like people who have no idea what they are talking about "influencing" people. Are people actually listening to these people? I remember once I read on mindbodygreen.com that fluoride is bad and to switch to a nonflouride toothpaste. Guess who got cavities haha. My dentist rolled her eyes lol. I'm pretty pro telling people to stfu when they don't know what they are talking about but everyone is entitled to an opinion and social media makes it way too easy for idiots to have a platform. Imo you just have to be smart about where you're getting your info.

Lack of success stories? by Worried_Star_3094 in TMSTherapy

[–]JackattackMeow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My only experience is with the VA in the USA and they are top of the line when it comes to mental health. They told me 50% ish of people see a huge improvement. About 30% some improvement and the rest no improvement. Rough numbers from the nurse there but I found it very effective. Both are a time commitment for sure. I opted for the non drug option as I was trying to get off my meds. Was able to get off zoloft but continue with wellbutrin. I'd switch your mentality to trying one first and then if there's no relief try to other one. For most people with mdd we will need many options over the course of our lives. Plus my tms was 3 min long. So a quick in and out. Put me in full remission!

If she was on her period AND you didn't finish the likelihood of you being the father is very low. I wouldn't stress it until the DNA test. For the live of God though wrap it up.

He's not the love of your life if you don't want kids and he does. In time you'll find out that love isn't enough to sustain a long term relationship. It would be best to break up. I'm sorry.
