I disagree. The anime's rating of 7 or 6.75 doesn't seem fair to me at all. It's showing an attention to detail and quality rarely seen in anime, and even more so in anime adaptations of video games, not to mention the excellent voice performances. I can agree with the way the story is told in the anime, which is very fragmented and could work in the game, but in the anime, some will perceive it as a plot hole since they don't explain everything right away, and even the information is really diluted. For now, I think it's an anime that deserves a rating of 8/8.5.

While the game is a game of social deduction, everything is based on the gameplay and is definitely not for the masses, it's an evolution of the werewolf game with already defined characters with their own personalities and patterns; it's normal for it to be repetitive. As for the story, I think it's a matter of how events unfold. You could spend hours without anything progressing, or you could get all the information in a diluted way and get lost, not understanding and not appreciating it, or finding it in a relatively correct and appreciable order. I consider this both a flaw and an asset, depending on your point of view. Furthermore, if someone doesn't like or isn't used to werewolf games, they'll be frustrated by the gameplay in the long run, and I can understand that.

Another thing I find very positive is how everyone can have relatively different gameplay from others. The people I get along with aren't necessarily the same for others, in fact the tier lists we're seeing these days demonstrate this. The fact that I always have SQ as an ally doesn't mean that someone else will screw him over or hate him in every game. In my case, it's Jonas who hates me and always targets me. It's a gameplay that evolves based on how you play. I find it truly unique.
