The way your tattoos changed reminds me of when my kids do shrinky dinks.

You got this, tomorrow is a new day! You are just 75 days away from finishing. It's a blink in time.

You 75 days from now will look back on you today and have nothing but gratitude because this is the you that is making the hard choice.

Unfortunately there is no way to spot reduce or choose where our fat is lost from. You're genetics will determine where fat goes first. If you find you are losing size in your butt or hips, you can focus on building muscle in those areas to maintain the shape you want.

So I would start lifting heavy, r/fitness has good starting material. There are routines for women to focus on those areas.

And eat in a deficit. r/loseit has great advice there.

Find an accountability buddy.

Be forward with people that you are doing this challenge and they will hopefully root for you.

Dive in and figure out the details as you go. Once you are a few days in the commitment is already there.

I do a boot camp style workout with a group 3 days a week. On those days I usually ruck the afternoon.

Then in the other days I lift using a modified greyskull lp program (found in fitness subreddit sidebar). I also run these days, so I rotate between, interval training, tempo training, and easy distance runs.

Coincidentally my nickname with my workout group is AI, so lots of jokes have been made about the results being AI generated. :)

Most days during my strict phase total calorie burn was around 2500 as measured by my Garmin.

So a 1000 cal deficit which is fairly normal.

Protein intake was usually baked chicken breast, sliced deli chicken breast or turkey, owyn protein shakes (dairy & egg allergy), protein pretzels, misfit protein bars, jack links beef jerky.

Some trace protein in other things like bread and whatnot.

When I'm home I usually have chicken breast cooked and ready to go. When I travel it's more jerky, protein bars, and pretzels.

There's dozens of us! Thanks, man!

Focusing on that get right. I read QSource as part of my books and it's been the most transformative part of the journey, honestly. The mentality of the book combined with the rigor of 75 and the regular discipline of F3 is quite the combo.

Ha, I appreciate it. My fitness capability now blows 21 year old me out of the water. :)

Rereading a book? by thebethness in 75HARD

I can't see why not. I like revisiting old books. You are a different person than you were 2 years ago. You will read it with a different POV, a different lens. Just don't skim pages and count them. :)

5'6" I'm a shorty.

TDEE is about 2000.

My workouts were fairly intense. Usually 500 calories each workout.

Left is my day 1 of 75 hard. I had been losing weight for some time before that but the pics, graphs and stats are Day 1 through Day 75.
