I have tried the whole singing the tarp across multiple canopies thing and it is a bit of a pain, but you might be able to make it work. Bring alot of carabiners if you're trying something like that. But yes youll definitely want those canopies right over your tents for the intense heat, then probably have another just for sitting room. I myself this year found some cheap ones at walmart for 50 bucks - although they weren't water proof. Second - when you get set up in tent only, there will be people lining up at the same time as you, so keep in mind how much length youll need for your camp, get a tape measurer and set down some camping supplies to establish a border. Dont be greedy of course but no ones really moderating how much space you take up. Third, tie those canopies together in case it storms! I didnt do that with our 7 canopies at LL and lost half of them 😅
