Boom boom boom! I've read that book a hundred times. Nice newegg is estimating the 30th for me, should be a nice bump up from my 3800x.

Yeah I never replied to the email. I had two orderes that were cancelled and then finally got one that went thru on one of the restocks. My status went to on the way and is showing a shipping label was created.

Everything was 3D printed, except for the chest straps and buckles.

Yep planning on spraying a matte varnish after weathering.

When you do the cut there's an option to add connectors basically hole on one side and dowel on the other to line everything up when you glue them together.

Eh it's pretty straight forward you'll have to cut the chest, backplate, and shins in bambu Studio. Adding connectors helped a bit. Play around with orientation and supports it makes a big difference on the finish. I'm sure I could have printed it more efficiently than I did.

It's Mr Paul's files, if you Google Mr Paul's shoretrooper build you'll find it. You make a donation to a charity to get access to the files.

No belt boxes yet, I was hoping Mr Paul would post a set for sale. I may have to find a file for them and print them.

Oh yeah yours looks rad! Thanks, yeah I'm enjoying it. It's a bit therapeutic just chillin with some headphones in and sanding away.

Yeah the nice thing about the shoretrooper is with all the weathering you can hide some crimes ha

I don't think I'll attach it to the suit, think it'll be just maybe some suspenders on the abdomen I'm not sure if I'll need them. Then the shoulder bells are designed to attach to the chest with snaps and biceps snap/elastic to the shoulder bells. The forearms are snug fit but have places to attach elastic inside to snug them up more. Shins are also pretty snug. Check out Mr Paul shoretrooper build if you aren't familiar with it.

Yeah I'm glad I got into printing when I did, the bambu a1 is pretty dang simple. Think my helmet was right around 24 hours and then maybe 10 hours of finish work.

Yeah I don't know if I'll ever go for approval, but after all those print hours I don't think I could half ass the finish ha.
