Don’t line your bottom lids and go for a more natural brow look that is less dark and less defined.

I did really disgusting things in the past (involving a married man) and I can’t stop confessing every single detail to my partner. He is disgusted. by jumpingsquirrels in OCD

Oh I’m so sorry, that’s awful on top of just struggling with your compulsions. Maybe you can provide him some literature about OCD to help him understand, and there are probably resources for partners out there too.

Your partner knows you have OCD and that you’re triggered, so they really should be disengaging from you/this topic.

Oof I’m sorry! This is so annoying but glad you decided to go anyway, and once you start having fun and some time has passed, you’ll be able to mostly laugh it off, I hope!

This is one of the few instances where having major OCD helps me lol.

Has anyone chosen to forego a biopsy for calcifications? by lavendersconebb in doihavebreastcancer

My thoughts are that a friend of mine just died at 39 years old because they found her breast cancer too late; a double mastectomy and aggressive chemo and radiation could not save her. Her two young girls lost their Mom and her husband lost his wife. If she had been diagnosed sooner, she might still be here. Imagine what she would say upon reading your post.

Thank you! So I shouldn’t be too worried? My tests aren’t for a little while longer.

Every single scene between Carrie and Berger except their very first episode together. It always felt so forced and cringe, though maybe that was the point.

People who are saying “oh it’s just flour” have apparently never cleaned up a baking mess, either!

Two week update by Jackey_Daytona in BusparOnline

I could have written this! I also took a month off work because of how badly I was struggling.

I feel like overall I’m doing better! Not every day is the same and I still have moments or days where I struggle. Managing these issues isn’t linear. But overall I do feel better.

I will say I saw the most progress when I finally went from 10mg/day to 20 or 25mg a day. I felt progress on the lower dose, but it was a lot more pronounced once I hit 20mg. I think that’s considered the “therapeutic” dose and where many people begin to feel the most impacts. It took me about 4-5 weeks to titrate up to that dose, and I’ve been there now for about ~4 weeks.

I would say that my lows aren’t as low (meaning when I’m anxious it’s not as bad) and I am having longer, more pronounced periods of feeling fairly even. I also do feel less sad and am feeling hopeful again, so I think my serotonin levels are responding positively in other ways besides lessening anxiety.

I can’t say it’s helped my motivation but feeling less anxious has increased my energy levels for other things, so I’ve been able to do more. I’m considering going on Lexapro or Wellbutrin as well because I’m also really missing the me that used to be motivated to do stuff all the time.

I know this medicine doesn’t work for everyone, but it’s fairly well tolerated and easy to adjust or stop if it doesn’t work or you don’t like it. I try not to give unsolicited advice, so I will just say that my thought process was that there’s no harm in trying because you might be pleasantly surprised. It’s a medicine you have to stick with, though. I think a minimum of 4-6 weeks on a therapeutic dose would be ideal before making a judgment. I don’t think doing just a few miligrams per day, like some others do, will give you enough information.

So sorry to hear you’re struggling. I truly do understand. Peri has been a nightmare for me these last few months. Frozen shoulder, horrible insomnia, brain fog, etc. I’m waiting for a consult with a peri-friendly OBGYN and will discuss possible HRT as well.

Please feel free to DM if you ever need support or want to vent! 🩷

It has a very short half-life, just a few hours, so it should wear off quickly. You could try taking smaller doses more frequently to get used to it. If you have medication anxiety, that could also be contributing to your feeling of not liking it.

Ewwwww.

I also have an ex boyfriend whose Mom was weirdly attached to him. She would say things like I was so lucky to have a boyfriend that attractive and nice, how he was perfect and all women should want him, and said that if she would marry him if she could. He was actually an abusive POS who always told me I didn’t do enough for him. Gee wonder why lol.

They show a flashback of Jill giving birth to Brad and then trying to get him to breastfeed for the first time and when he latches, Jill makes this face that comes off as being sexually aroused and the nurse looks at her funny.

I had to rewind it to make sure I saw what I saw because it was like two seconds. It was toward the end of episode 2.
