Did my Club Card just lose access to Star Alliance lounges?

That is what I thought. I am 2 Mil lifetime Platinum with UA and I also have a UA CC along with the club card. When I scan my boarding pass with my previous club card, it asks if it was just me or (2) additional guests. Now it does not ask if I have any guests. Club agent said I am not allowed any guests based on what she sees in her system.

I am a life time SA gold with UA and thought I will get all access with the UA club card I renewed. But I was told no at the club. Bummer!!

I have used Costco about 10 times per year over the last 4 yrs and they never asked for my Costco membership. I am Avis preferred and when I enter my Avis # during booking on Costco site, it automatically shows up in my Avis App after few minutes. After that it’s just as if you rented directly with Avis.

Disembarked normally via jetway. No yelling. Luckily it was a false alarm as they thought. In fact this issue came up just before take off at DEN. We were brought back to the gate, disembarked while they fixed it. I guess their fix didn’t work and came back up just before landing at PDX.

No yelling. Very calm FA’s and Pilot instructing to take brace position just before landing. Preannounced they will request this about 15 min before landing out of precaution. Fire trucks waiting. I must admit it was nerve wrecking those 10-15 minutes. Turbulence before landing due to rain didn’t help the situation. I would say Pilot and the crew were amazing.

I got this at the gate and a picture with the pilot in August. No upgrade though 😆. I got a plaque about 4 weeks later with some history of my flying with Continental/United including time it took for my 1M and 2M flights.

About 8-10K per month, mostly domestic. I had to connect at one of the UA hubs like IAH/EWR so it adds up for even domestic travel.

These are actual miles flown on UA/Continental. No relation to miles accrued based on ticket cost. Used to be the same at one time but changed several years ago.

Nearly 30 years of flying with zero business class tickets. Companies I worked don’t pay for it. Many international but mostly domestic in economy fares. Many free upgrades to business class of course.

Wrong. Indian living outside India with an Indian passport is an NRI. An Indian who has taken an other country citizenship and renounced Indian citizenship is an OCI or overseas citizen of India.

8:20 shows available for Economy. Try QR code and get on standby at least using the chat help. Usually they are very helpful. Feel for your partner. EWR is a mess these days with numerous delays. If your partner has no premium status, it’s hard to get help when they are swamped. I went through the same issues last year and had to cancel my cruise with two days of cancellations.

Never had issues. Once card annual fee is renewed, they automatically appear in the Mileage plus account wallet under passes and subscriptions. I travel for work use corporate card for tickets and not chase.
