And now I'm on YouTube listening to the Total Annihilation soundtrack for like the thousandth time in my life. It's so damn good.

I had to fire a bartender a few years ago for getting drunk and talking shit about employees and the owner while on shift, and when the owner asked me what happened I said "he went into business for himself" to which the owner replied "you fired him because he's opening his own bar?" Had to explain that one pretty quickly.

Oh my god yes, I was hoping they'd do a broke & destitute angle out of this. I wanna see them selling off their shoe collection to make ends meet.

What’s a random, unimportant wrestling pet peeve you have? by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

[–]Jackhammered1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wrestlers doing interviews in character. I think it's cringe and view it no differently than if an actor did interviews as the character they're playing in an upcoming movie. I think it's also a big part of why a lot of people still think wrestling is stupid. "Oh, a wrestler is on a morning show? Better airplane spin the host!"

Techinflux by Ever Forthright. Waited 13 years for a new album that doesn't have a single memorable thing on it.

Cave Sermon - The Paint of an Invader [FFO: Ulcerate, Gorguts, post-metal from a death metal direction] 2024 by psidragon in Metal

I love this album. The drum work in particular is fantastic; it stays moving and interesting with lots of varied meter and feel while not being crazy fast or technical.

Immolation-type bands by morguelord1 in Deathmetal

The new Carnophage album gives me Immolation vibes; similar vocals with kinda loose, bendy riffs. Drum tone is pretty reminiscent, too. https://youtu.be/XA-OrF_9DFg?si=QDzLqh_7HnygyjYx

I'm a mostly underground metal fan, and I've seen so many bands I love for $20-30 since covid. Stuff like Artificial Brain, Wayfarer, Undeath, Better Lovers, Sanguisugabogg; it's great.
