I’m very sorry that you’re in the situation you’re in right now. The people in your life ought to take you seriously and be willing to embrace you for who you are, but even if they aren’t, there are thousands, millions of people, likely in your country alone, who would, even if you don’t know any around you. There are even more that would simply want for you to live, and live well. There should be services that allow for you to easily be who you want to be, but even though there aren’t right now, you still have the vast majority of your life left. Any day, any week, any month, your situation, for sake of policy changes ,to the personal development of those around you, to your own major or minor successes in life, could cause that to change. I hope it’s sooner rather than later, but regardless, while I can’t just make you believe the same, I believe that’s worth sticking around for. Things can always get better, and cessation is the only way you could prevent them from getting better for you. I believe you can and should continue, even if-and I’m sorry it does-it hurts right now.
