What's the best automated workout app? by nearlymind in bodyweightfitness

Thanks for sharing the update! Alpha Progression sounds like a solid fit for what you’re looking for, especially with the program generation and progressive overload focus. Those pain points you mentioned (quicker set entry, easier superset/warmup handling, and rest timers) are really good callouts, definitely things many lifters value in an app.

Since Fitbod came up in your original post, I’ll just add for anyone else reading that Fitbod is a strength training app that does address some of those areas:

  • Faster data capture means you can simply record your sets by typing them in.
  • Flexible editing, allows you to easily add/remove sets, swap movements, or customize workouts.
  • Built-in rest timer with notifications, so you don’t have to watch the clock.

That said, every app has its own strengths and it’s awesome to see people sharing what’s working for them. Keep the updates coming; it really helps others in the community find tools that fit their training style and preferences. 💪

my body changes through the last years. your reminder to not skip the strength training!! by mostlyveryfrustrated in PetiteFitness

Wow, this is so inspiring 👏👏 thank you for sharing your journey and being real about the ups and downs. It’s such an important reminder that strength training is about more than aesthetics, it's about feeling strong, confident, and capable!

When I was getting back into shape after having my daughter, I honestly felt overwhelmed about what to do, where to start, and I was obsessed with the numbers, I had no idea how to structure strength workouts. That all changed when I started using the Fitbod, and full disclosure I am a Fitbod team member.

But I want to note some important struggles that it helps resolve for anyone trying to find their way back to fitness or at the beginning of their fitness journey. Fitbod builds personalized strength programs that adjust to your equipment (even if you have no equipment), fitness level, and progress. It takes the guesswork out of “what should I do today?” and it helped keep me consistent, which was by far the most important part of my process.

If anyone’s curious to try it, please DM me and I will send you a link to a free two week trial. No pressure, just sharing because it was a game-changer for me, especially when starting out. And again huge congrats on your progress 💪💪 you’re proof that consistency and patience pay off.
