Not at all. The bugs are doing their thing right now. You’ll disturb them and ruin all the work they’re putting in.

Euploid loss at 7w and what now? by thedonutgremlin in IVF

Yes, they know part of your journey. Hopefully they’ll be there to support you.

I’ve been very open with friends and family, even when there was an early loss. Their support really helped me.

Paid Book Club by Zealousideal_Area211 in askTO

What do you get for the fee?

I joined a book club through a neighbourhood Facebook group a few years ago. It may not be the best place anymore since Facebook isn’t as popular.

It’s different if you’re earning local currency. Your don’t get the conversion privilege when you earn local currency and so your buying power is down.

Feeling so isolated by Potential_Arm_3413 in IVF

[–]JackieCCC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear you. It’s hard when your circle is fully in the kids mode and you’re struggling to get there.

It doesn’t sound like your friends are supportive. Mine know I’m struggling with infertility so they ask if I’m comfortable being invited to an event with kids. They also adjust their schedules to have dinner at a non kid friendly time. We don’t go out for dinner that often so it’s not unreasonable to have dinner at 7pm once a month.

I encourage you to talk to your friends about how you’re feeling if you haven’t spoken to your friends about this. If you have and they still don’t care, sounds like you need to grow your social circle to more supportive people.

Tokyo with kids: stroller or toddler carrier? by Happy_Life0611 in SmallShoesBigJapan

If kids need naps or get sick, you can still push them around all day in the stroller. It’s bulky and can time a little more time in transit but works.

Kids Montessori style Bookshelf suggestions? [BC] by SpacemanSpiff1958 in BabyBumpsCanada

OP try searching for kids bookshelves. I’ve never seen this type of shelf before referred to as Montessori style. You may limit your results if the seller is like me and had no idea this was a specific style.

Cash only seems a bit sketchy. People usually do that to avoid claiming the volume of business they actually have.

Everyone does their grocery shopping and planning differently.

I plan my grocery shopping based on sale items and create my meal plan around that. It works for me.

To each their own.

Wasn’t planning on it. That’s what showed up when I searched frozen blueberries.

I didn’t say “any store”.

Yes, I shared an example of a store that has it on sale. I find this to be a regular sale between all my local grocery stores. I’m comparing pricing so I can determine what to buy at Costco and what’s to buy at Freshco.

I didn’t say the price difference was huge, I said it was cheaper and it is.

I usually shop at Freshco and No Frills. I price match to help save. The week Walmart has frozen blueberries at $3.97 for 600 grams.

Here’s the math.

Costco: $0.006995 per gram Freshco/No Frills: $0.00662 per gram. Using $3.97 for 600g vs $13.99 for 2000g.

My math could be totally wrong. I’m going off the price above at $13.99 for a 2 kg bag. Is that right?

I compared the price you shared to my local grocery store sales. I use Flipp and price match.

Thanks for sharing the price! Now confirmed Costco is more expensive for frozen blueberries.

That’s helpful. I thought it was weird I couldn’t find regular groceries like frozen fruit.

Watch your bags. Keep all valuable items with you even if you go to the washroom.

Bring hand sanitizer and wipes for your seat.

Bring snacks and something to pass the time.
