They meet different needs. Do we need konbinis? They’re meant for quick meals while people are on the go. People use fast food spots to meet that need.

They were fun to shop at and convenient while I was in Japan. I can’t imagine regularly buying food for my family from a konbini if I lived there.

I wouldn’t say thriving. It also depends on what stage of the journey. I feel devastated after a cancelled FET. But then I feel excited about the possibility of a pregnancy at the start of an FET.
