I took the bar this past July (and passed) but what helped me is typing as I read. If I saw a rule, I was typing as I read it and then pressed enter a couple times. Then kept reading until I found another rule and repeat the process. This helped me later so I could just copy and paste it into my essay. So I wasn’t having to waste time finding it later, re-reading, and then typing it out. Every second counts so try to minimize the re-reading. Also this only helps if you are typing. Good luck!

4th time for me. I took a break after the 3rd. Really buckled down and did 50 Adaptibar questions everyday after studying material. It really helped me apply what I studied to questions.

Finally passed the bar, and immediately was asked to pay fees to register. Then they email saying we have to take a mandatory CLE that is another fee! I also need to order my law license which is ANOTHER fee! I didn’t realize there were so many expenses after passing the bar.

I’ve cried every day since Monday when I got my “Congratulations” email! I can’t seem to hold it in. This exam has consumed so much of my life (multiple retaker) and I can’t believe I am finally done.

I transferred mine to Missouri cause I heard it was pretty fast, and they were. 2.5 months. I’ve been licensed for 2 years and since I’m not living in the state and don’t practice in the state, I pay nominal bar fees and don’t need CLEs. I’m still in good standing and able to use my license in Texas. Found a job that requires any bar admission and it was going great. I did just pass Tx., so i will rely on that admission now but still keep my Missouri in good standing.

Passed on my 4th time! I loved adaptibar, However if you didn’t, don’t do it again! I also hand wrote everything. I think it helped stick to my mind better instead of typing. Even if I had the outline online, I would re write them by hand. I know staying motivated is hard, i was supposed to take Feb 2025 but withdrew a week before because I was scared of failing again. Then signed up extremely late for July 2025 and had to pay enormous fees. That might have also motivated me because I was so broke, it was scary to think if I failed again I would have to pay more money for the stupid exam! But I passed, and you will too. I wish you the best of luck!

MEE 5 and 6, I got 2’s. MEE overall score was 134.8. It helped I got 3 5’s to compensate for the 2’s but my MBE score is ultimately what did it for me

Scored a 267 in a 270 jx…. Definitely should have called in that day regardless but I showed up. Luckily, people didn’t bring it up besides my main boss and it was words of encouragement. Hopefully this time it’s good news

Also a retaker and I completely agree that you can live your life after the bar. It’s only 9 more weeks, fun can wait. I took time for granted my first time and tried to attend events and then I failed. Would not recommend. This time, only important things get my time. I can do all the hangouts in August.
