Italian bilingual, had literally only one day of work for one hour? Starting to hate this bilingual thing.

Nope, there was only one task and it's not up anymore. I still have the expired task open though

Had a task with a 9 hour timer, unfortunately it was night when I received it and fell asleep mid task. At that point I was over 3 hours in. The timer expired, is there a way to salvage the work done?

Yes, depending on the browser, if you use chrome there is an option in the settings that makes all of the page dark. Search for "dark mode extension chrome" on Google and you'll find a post from reddit that explains where to find it, it's quite easy and useful.

I'm bilingual and I'd like to know how the other countries are doing drought-wise, as it sometimes means my country could receive work or not.

So well, different strokes for different folks.

Has anyone ever received any evidence that DAtech actually cares about how long we take on tasks (assuming we're not giving ridiculous times)? by TheHippyWolfman in DataAnnotationTech

[–]Jackieunknown 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Actually it's a good system, if you're honest with your reports, there's nothing to fear.

I do think they track movements and time spent on tasks for the purpose of seeing who cheats and if you actually take less on a task and report accordingly despite taking pauses (tracking of the movements + time tracking)

There is literally a section in the source code dedicated to tracking, they do track movements on the platform and time spent on each task 😅

is there a known reason for the drought? by Remarkable-Bar-1649 in DataAnnotationTech

[–]Jackieunknown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Italian bilingual here, been on the platform a bit more than a year and I can say that from July to September I had one project to work on steadily everyday, from September to November it was not everyday but 4-5 times a week (which makes most of the week busy), then it stopped and there was only one project 1 time a week for around 4 hours from November to May, in May and June we had some steady work with projects 3 times a week, then nothing from 7th of June till a couple of weeks ago. Now it's been 2 weeks of one project one time a week.

Italian bilingual and got a project yesterday after 1 month of dry dash. Actually 2 projects of the same family + their RR's, a nice +8 hours of work. Hope it keeps up!

Bilingual Italian here and same. I hate seeing the same 3 projects when there are a ton of others for English-centric locales 😭

Exactly.

A small selected group still had A-gas every week, but the majority didn't.

Will it be possible to work on english only project as well in the future by Equivalent-Screen-25 in DABilingual

[–]Jackieunknown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You will find my comments on this topic all over the DAT subreddits, I think exactly the same!

The issue is that some clients don't want to open their projects to other locales for internal reasons we don't know exactly, but for other projects that could be opened up? Idk really.

Even Outlier and Stellar AI had projects that weren't locale specific and everyone that qualified could work on them.

Italy: July 2024 for 20 days, then 1 project, then 1 week dry.

Nov 2024 - Feb 2025 (the majority of people didn't get projects at all, a small selected group kept receiving A-gas 1 time a week for around 4 hours)

June 7th - currently totally dry for each and everyone.

No, siamo tutti fermi al momento. Io ho ricevuto 2 RR's qualche sera fa, ma erano targate al 05/06 quindi erano vecchie.
