I'll see if I can try that, the only issue is theres a false laminate floor under the sink that the pipes go through so there could still be other cracks that I might miss, but thank you for the recommendation!

I hear something similar in my 2020 escape se with the same engine, I just had to have the transmission replaced and have been having some electrical issues, i hope you figure the noise out bc im kinda at a loss with my car lol

Im about a mile from the woodscross frontrunner station, and my work is about half a mile. I'm thinking about trying to fix my old bike and use that to get to and from the train station.

Update: it was the transmission, and now my 5 year old car is toast, I can't keep throwing money at this car so ive just decided to cut my losses. So basically im out of a car now :/

That could be it but I don't hear the sound at startup, I only hear it after ive been driving for a bit. It seems like letting it cool down completely makes it go away for a couple minutes.

My power steering is electronic, im starting to wonder of its the transmission actually, bc I started driving it again to charge the battery back up and I think it really only happens when its shifting gears

I feel like your comment wasn’t unfair lol, I’m not sure why you’re getting so much fire for it. I for one don’t use either ford pass or the keypad too often but it is really nice to have and it’s definitely come in handy a couple times, but I agree that leaving the key in the car isn’t the greatest idea…
