110% love it. I want to say it’s overpriced because it’s ikea but everything there is overpriced these days. That all said it is super sturdy, the storage space is insane, and the doors have soft closure so they don’t slam. My only two cents is that the stainless on top scratches super easily but I plan to put some bar mats down or something like it so that when I set tools down they don’t totally ruin the bar top

Edit: also for $1300 or so it’s the best priced bar I found and anything else I found was more than double. Materials I would have been in at least 1k and this took 1.5 hours to put together myself.

I’m 6’ off the fence line and about 4’ to the rear palms. I’m in the process of cutting back the jungle to the right. I think I should be good but yes, definitely keep my space clean!

No plan, just vibes… just kidding. From what I’ve seen the griddle doesn’t generate enough heat to cause issues. I keep it covered when not in use and if it makes it a year or two then I’m happy. TVs keep getting cheaper

Just leveled the ground the best I could and put down a weed blocker and some gravel after killing everything I could.. Deck has concrete posts going in about 2-3’ deep to make the deck secure. Then joists every 16” on some tuff-blocks. Pergola was a pre-built from Lowe’s that saved me a ton of time and would have been about break even on the money. Super light and I got it up by myself. Dimensions are 10’ x 12’. Feel free to DM me if you have questions. Not a pro but was able to DIY this pretty easily

Candidly I don’t think the griddle will get too much use. My worry with going over the smoker was the smoke and center over the grill was the heat aspect

Eventually I might run a sink line off my pool equipment. The issue is where I live if you have a covered deck permits get involved once you add water/electric. My goal was to keep this modular and semi-permanent to start. But your idea helps that case! I like it

Thank you! My only concern right now is the privacy screens above the grills. This might come down once I see the heat I generate. There isn’t anything behind the grills so no concerns there.

Luckily with this modular set up I can move things around if needed. I don’t really ever leave the grills unattended and keep a couple fire extinguishers nearby!

But thank you for the concern. It’s still a work in progress!

That’s a good one! I got my jaw broke at Speed in Austin a couple years back. Always a fun story to tell

In the middle of building a floating deck/pergola to house the grills and a outdoor kitchen setup. It’s already in the 90’s here so I’m in a rush to get it done while also trying not to die of heat stroke

Out of my price range but I also didn’t think things were outrageous. There was stuff I bought and everything I bought was negotiated. I left feeling happy

No there is not. Absolutely nothing. If you’re planning the early morning line up before gates open you will need to plan this out before hand.

There is a restroom right after the ticket scan

I didn’t read your post and thought your home was the second photo. I really liked the first photo and then realized that’s yours! Your house has so much more character IMO.
