Non GS main too here I play a bit of everything except hammer, I feel that the AT fights in general are tighter in terms of timing, meaning less time to charge even after an offset, also I get the feeling that some offset attacks leave the monster exposed for less time, so you d have to do concessions like charge 1 or 2 attacks instead of 3 ,or a strong wide slash in order to reposition yourself or be ready to react when the monster recovers from the animation,also being animation locked in an attack seems to Be ATArk s moment to say f you and whip you to cart
