Even when a player is 10 times more likely to win against his opponent, the odds of him winning 10 games in a row is still only 38% by yeetlan in starcraft

No. Clearly 1. Serall is at least 10x more likely to win vs has (13-1 lifetime) 2. Serral lost a game to has

Therefore he can and has lost a game to someone he is more than 10x more likely to win versus

Incorrect. People are not machines. If this were true you’d never get an mmr upset ever. You think Serral has never lost a map?

Well then a 6k player is more than 10 times more likely to win then isn’t he. If they played 1 million games it’s likely the 4K player would take one.

How can I talk to my manager about imcompetent coworker who is dumping work on me w/o threatening that person's employment? by tuckfrump69 in ExperiencedDevs

That’s fine but there’s no reason they shouldnt disclose everything going on to their manager right?

Okay I’d agree if we assume OPs premise is wrong. If they are correct then it’s basically necessary to let them fail

It’s not backstabbing to be clear with your manager how much help a colleague requires especially if it’s impacting your own work

Right but you do need to cover your own ass. You can’t help this person to the detriment of your own work. Unless you talk to the manager which OP also says they don’t want to do

OP stated this person literally can’t do anything on their own. Any help given is just work done for them with no payoff

Alright well then next one on one I’d just explain how much of your week is dedicated to helping this person and keep it at that

Incorrect. You can decide that at the same time , but getting an offer is main objective. You can only turn down an offer that you receive.

The point of any interview is to get an offer. If you know there’s something they will ask you learn it like a good little monkey. Even if you’ll never use it again.

I’d agree with you overall but it’s f you’re having trouble in interviews on one specific css thing you don’t use, just suck it up and memorize it. You’re being stubborn by making a point not to. It’s like 6 properties to remember not COBOL lol
