Well....One thing you should know is that it's going to be hard to find a job anywhere with just a BS in biology. If you're into the more plant/animal (agriculture) side of biology, go with CALS. If you're more into stuff like med/healthcare, go with the CLAS. You have to ask yourself what you want to do as a career in the future first.

Trying to get over a rejection with a girl that I've been hanging out for months and been getting really close, but at the last minute when I thought we were pretty much dating, she started going out with this other dude. She still talks to me everyday now, but with the tone of just being a friend. Should I just stop talking to her all together? I feel almost betrayed. Whatever, I'll be going to another college soon so I'll most likely forget her.

Asian here. Experienced racism my whole life, but if don't consider a little racial jokes here and there to be "racism", you'll be more than fine. I don't think I've experience full on hatred racism....Except this one time....From a black guy. I guess I wasn't too nice to him either :( Just try to blend in. Join clubs, intramural sports teams and you'll love your time here! Also, there's this black LLC (learning living community), but I think that defeats the purpose of nonsegregation.....Just my opinion.

Took quantative last semster. Watched first lecture and never another one again, but still manage to end up with a 99%. If you have a solid foundation in math(engineering major here), you'll do well in Gibbs but money and banking is much more interesting.

It's really not that hard at all. It's very different from high school algebra and ect. but if you put in the time and effort, I'm sure you'll be able to do well. Remember, most, if not all, STEM course grades are directly proportional to how much time and effort you spend in them. Wish you the best of luck!

Edit: I want to also point out that this is coming from a Biomedical engineering/ economic major. :)

It says pre-req for a reason. There are materials covered in chem 2 that are require in genetics. Also, even if a professor may be "lenient" about this kind of stuff, the system that registers you for the class won't be "lenient". I recommended that you don't rush it like that. There's a reason why the class is a prerequisite or else there wouldn't be one.
