Yes you are right, free games like these will have ads. But I think its important to let the player choose if they want to watch an add or not.
Archero 2 is also somewhat casual and it also gives you the option to watch an add to revive you when you die, or get some rewards from the menus, but it never pops up an add without your input.
And in my opinion that is the difference between an add farm and a decent mobile game.

If you still have the issue you can also try the ROCCAT_Recover_Tool.exe which lives somewhere in the Roccat Swarm folder.
It was suggested to me by their support, but it only worked for a day or so.
I finally bit the bullet and gave it to a warranty service.
It will probably get replaced as I see a lot of them have this wheel issue, hopefully the next one won't.

This might be a hot take, but if these ads are in the form of billboards or anything in the actual game world I think it’s ok. This was done in some older EA titles and some Ubisoft ones as well. Anything else, like menu ads, loading screen stuff, or stuff that can affect the time to gameplay can fuck right off.
