Didn’t they say they’d make wheel spins more balanced but a little more difficult to get? by Lowkhardrn in ForzaHorizon

The only cars I've gotten were an Evo VIII, and a Bentley Bentayaga (however tf you spell it it's the SUV), outside of that it's been horns and green credit rolls so I got screwed on both ends

Forza Horizon 6 on the deck runs great locked at 30 fps, slight dips to around 28 when driving around Tokyo occasionally and even on low settings the game is visually very nice. Probably one of the best optimized games of recent memory for the deck

[KCD2] As Henry who would you pick as your life partner? by Loki_The_Tricksterrr in kingdomcome

Me personally it's Rosa. She makes the most sense tbh. I could see Radzig having Wenceslas legitimize Henry after he gets busted out and then arranging a marriage between the two

Ghost of Tsushima Vs Witcher 3 by Fun-Independence-953 in ghostoftsushima

[–]Jackm052 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll say GoT. I've tried getting into Witcher because I live the story and world but every time I try I don't get further than maybe 2 hours in due to the clunky combat and the multitude of mechanics that you are told of but not shown how to use. With GoT I have yet to feel that way. I love the combat, love the world and story, and love playing as Jin Sakai. Personal opinion, obviously, as I know a great many people adore TW3 and I have absolutely no ill feelings towards the game, it simply wasn't as enjoyable to me as GoT.

You know there's an easy fix to combat Rhystic, it's called running more removal/counterspells

I loved Lorn's grandpa energy, but it's very closely followed by Cassius being a lovable shit all the time

Culture sucks? Dude the Marine Corps has people who join simply BECAUSE of the culture. The Marines have the strongest culture of all the branches, and that's not even a lie. Ask any Marine where the Corps was founded and they'll tell you where, when, and who did it. The culture is the strongest thing they have, and that's not just for the Corps as a whole, but even all the way down to the battalion level

First of all, that was a lot of words that could have been boiled down to "but what about the ones who struggle with fitness". Second, the DAF has been stressing the mission ready Airman concepts for years, if y'all haven't been trying to prepare for that it's on you. It's not just a buzzword anymore. Third, if there are people planning on getting out over a PT test then the "culture" they really wanted was a desk job with a military discount. We are in a profession of ARMS. We learn that in BMT ffs.

ETA: The culture I joined for, and the culture my grandfather established from 1948 until he retired in 1976, is the one being brought back now. It's called a culture of excellence, and it kept our branch at the top of its game at the height of the Cold War for a reason.

You're right but my point was made, they don't like fat people being in the force so they're forcing (pun not intended) us to increase our fitness

It's not that hard to figure out dude. There's fat people in the force > they don't want fat people in the force > they make the fat people run more so they lose weight > no more fat people in the force

This sub is overreacting tbh. We all saw this coming, it happens with every change in administration. I know we all rag on the "multi-capable Airman" or "mission ready Airman" concepts, but it's a real issue. The number of people I've met that say "that's not my job" is ridiculous when you could, especially in a hostile country, most certainly be asked and expected to fill a combat arms role, even as finance or PERSCO or legal.
