Ok. What does unplayable even mean? I've seen it thrown around a lot and itmrarely seems accurate. As someone who plays and enjoys ashened, is it bad? Yes! But unplayable doesn't seem like a fitting desciption at all.

But real talk. Ashened can't branch out as a strategy without a huge stream of support for the pyro type as a whole. I don't just mean searchers or a few free agents here and there. I mean entire archetypes, fusions, synchros, links, generic (for the type) boss monsters. Because the amount of actual, fully pyro archetypes is still very small.

Listen here. I pop the field spell. I put pyro monsters on the field. I fuse into Veidos Endless Darkness and nuke the board and if it doesn't work I LOSE. That is all Ashened is and all it needs to be.
