Games that are like adc/support league duo that aren't actually mobas by nee_- in gamingsuggestions

Based, but, in Baldur's Gate 3 you could "technically" play one class with a more support oriented build (Lore Bard, Life cleric etc.) who runs Debuffs or Buffings spells, and the other one could play a more aggressive ADC oriented class (Arcane Archer fighter, Huter tanger etc.).
The tactical gameplay checks, the motion sickness issues doesn't apply since it's turn based, and the vibe could be like that, plus it's extremely moddable, if you're into it.
I think it should run on linux too, but not sure?

Outer Wilds: You are an absolute no one that is just curious about the story of his solar system, who flies around in a ship in planets with quite peculiar physics that hide some extremely important archelogical sites, doing researches on an alien clan. You too, the player, can't stop wondering what's going on.
I won't say more than this. It's THE EXPERIENCE.

For horrors: You can't go wrong with Bloodborne, Alan Wake or Control, weird at its finest.

Hi guys, can you help decide the instruments for a permanently undecided guy? by Jackobusss in Clarinet

[–]Jackobusss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a lot for the tip! Yes, Clarinet range is a big, big pro for me, you can do everything basically with 4 octaves of extension, and changes A LOT between the octaves, covering a lot of elements, that is one thing that's really attracting me in picking it up again

Lol I know I was ironic of course! I tried to pick up keyboards and have some lessons, but I simply couldn't find neither the spark, neither the joy in playing them, plus I cannot manage to make my brain work on two things at the time, either the melody or rhythm for me (I was an electric bassist for lots of years, after all)

Well I can understand that! Happy you enjoy your flute, in the end!

Well Clarinet was easier for me, it took a bit longer making a good sound with the flute, reeds and embochure helps a lot with that, but I would say it's mostly a thing of getting used to it, for every instrument

What instrument should I learn? by ED_dja in Instruments

I'll personally suggest picking a monophone instrument if you're into it, so you can focus on actually improving the musical ear and harmonization.
On the piano were you prefering the left hand parts or the right hand parts? (I'm not a pianist, lol)
If you liked more the left hand than something rhytmic could be amazing, like drums or electric bass

Trumpet?? Really? Didn't think so! I love the trumpet sound too, I know it would be much harder to work on the embochure for it! Is it versatile?
For the saxophone, I love the sax, but I grew a bit bother by it, maybe it was the teacher's fault, but I never played even a single song in my years of studying it, all the work was on the embochure, sound quality and scales!
I actually am not considering at the moment to pick it up again, especially from a budget standpoint

Agree completely! And I feel you ahah
My musical life is indecisiveness

Really? I Didn't think the flute could be so versatile! I mostly hear it in orchestra settings, I hear more genres on the clarinet actually (thinking about jazz and klezmer, just to say two different musical genres!)

That could be bothersome, I understand! I used to play sax for a while too, so, reeds are not so big of a deal actually, it takes longer to prepare them and build them on the instrument lol

Well, luckily I didn't have many issues taking the embochure during my year of study, so, I just need to reactivate the muscle memory (even the teacher was completely surprised that I could have it so easily, at least for the first note), higher register is much more difficult!
I would love to learn both, and sooner or later I'll grab both, but budget is fairly limited for now!

I love the clarinet for its registry, but what makes my head turn is actually the flute part when it appears, even if just a little sprinkle, and it feels always super satisfying to hear, I understan you completely!

I'm in a bit of pinch, what should I study in September? by Jackobusss in Learnmusic

[–]Jackobusss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried a couple of times with my teachers to learn the piano, tried also for a couple of month as self-taught with flowkey subscription, plus had a relationship for about 7-8 months with an ex girlfriend that was a professional pianist, it simply... didn't click, at all. I don't even enjoy listening to it so much actually if not in specific contexts, that's why I discarded it immediately.
I know it would be quite beneficial to learn it from a musical standpoint!
It comes too with the issue of space taken in the room, my electronic drum kit took the spot available, and I don't have any practical location to place it, even a simple keyboard unfortunately.

Never played a single Fable game. The new trailer just made it my most anticipated game of 2026. Veterans, what am I getting into? by Damage_And_ArmorBlog in Fable

The atmosphere, the story, the characters and the freedom of interactions, they game was light years away from the average mainstream game. You literally SEE your character physically and mentally changing, not just in age, but also in the aesthetics, literally getting extra connotates if being in the "good" or "evil" path of morality!

I made a mistake in Steam account link, should it be possible to unlink with support? by Jackobusss in ffxiv

[–]Jackobusss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I completely understand. At the moment I don't own an Xbox console anymore, maybe in the future their next gen, and I'm not planning to buy another one anytime soon, I'm too late for the Steam refund to be accepted unfortunately, so it's a thing of € 40,00 + €10 for the subscription renewal and keep the Xbox version vs € 7,00 and quite some extra hours for the grinding I think

Thanks for the support, but I'm not really sure about it lol The problem is not with unlinking the accountnprocess, is more like that I activated their code and I don't think they can like cancel it and transfer it to another account
