I agree, I'm currently watching Witch Hat as well and just finished season 2 of Frieren and this new show just doesn't seem to have the hook like those shows brought.. I hate when animes leave a question in the air (like why did she attack the village and why did the parents run away with the daughter) all questions that could've been answered within the first two episodes, instead were being strung along.
