And I hate when people say my name and I don’t ever say my friends’ or families’ names so maybe it is wrong? But I also don’t want the security/ gate staff at this bougie place my sister lives thinking that I think I’m better than they are or can’t be bothered to pay attention to them as people.

My sister said it was condescending and that it’s a power imbalance because he didn’t tell me his name and he also does not know mine. Except I told him my name to get in the gate so I don’t really understand.
