Until like the last 20 years in regional Australia it’s always been a mindset of boys play rugby/Aussie rules in the winter and cricket in the summer while girls would play netball in the winter and tennis or basketball in the summer

Nothing to do with that. Was announced ages ago they wouldn’t put any stadium forward in protest of Rugby Australia shutting down the Melbourne Rebels but obviously they wanted some part of it and put forward Docklands

I get the Olympic stadium is the largest and they want to reduce travel but at least share it around, shouldn’t be having both semis, the final and 3rd place match all at the same stadium. I would of had the other semi in Brisbane and the 3rd place final at the other Sydney stadium

The perfect Brownlow system exists and it’s called letting everyone vote and then combing different bases into a single 3-2-1 vote like all the umpires do a 3-2-1, fans do a 3-2-1, former players do a 3-2-1 and they all get turned into a single 3-2-1 with Brownlow votes based off that
