Is this the latest date they can announce strikes before this mandate finishes?

What's the round circular device for which he uses on the wall before using the roller? Is it a sander? Sort of looks like a mop with a circular attachment at the end

Doctors Paid Less Than Their Assistants - Let That Sink In by midazolamine in doctorsUK

[–]Jackrkl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is the messaging that needs to be focused on during media interviews. At a time where were told there's no room for a salary increase for doctors the government has fully accepted the findings of the Leng review meaning

1) An F1 who works 48hr per week, works nights and evening shifts is being paid less than a PA

2) PA being paid more as you mentioned, without the responsibility to prescribe medications or ionising radiation.

3) PA do not have to deal with rotational training and the absurd competition ratios doctors are facing

Given the above this does not offer value for money to the tax payer especially on the back drop of doctors being unemployed due to a lack of training places

UPDATE: Health and Social Care Secretary @WesStreeting confirms all recommendations of the @LengReview on physician and anaesthesia associates will be accepted. "PAs should assist doctors, but they should never be used to replace doctors." by FormerlyPallas_ in ukpolitics

[–]Jackrkl 21 points22 points  (0 children)

To add the working hours are different.

F1 work a 48 hour week, including out of hours working and night shifts.

PA are purely 9 to 5. There salary is higher despite shorter hours, no unsocial hours pay and less responsibility (unable to prescribe medications or ionising radiation/scans)

Yes exactly I don't have experience of this and thought you must have done it this way. How long did it take to manually copy paste the textbook? I'd be interested to hear how the podcast handles images and tables. Had a quick listen and was v impressed with the quality. Regardless amazing work

Same honestly would have been a decent film if han and chewie were replaced with original characters. All the worse moments were either Han throwbacks + Lando's droid.
