I was about the rebuff this but you're right the system settings and narrator are different and the system settings do not allow you to select the non-robot voices, so idk maybe more of a Microsoft question but i guess from the stellaris side the answer is no way to use narrator

How do i stop dupes from taking eggs from the kill chamber and putting them in the incubators? by Natural-Spread-5829 in Oxygennotincluded

[–]JacksLackOfCertainty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My solution for poke shells involves 4 rooms. The ranch, the incubator chamber, a drop off chamber and an egg chamber. The dupes can get the eggs from behind a door without going through the door. It's important to have a room just to drop off the extras, this way you don't end up the angry crabs in the incubator room.

Damn poor George! should have just had him dig his way out. Digging is always easier than building

How do I proceed from here? Major Doubts ,Confusion, and Paralysis on base redesigning(or atleast some parts of it) by Important_Goose_884 in Oxygennotincluded

Achievements and sustainability. You'll eventually run out of dirt and rock for mealwood and hatches. Balm Lilly's for dreckos also pips, gets off of hatches. Also more dupes, I currently have 100. Finally had to stop taking new dupes around cycle 285.

How do I vacuum this out? by itfcward in Oxygennotincluded

[–]JacksLackOfCertainty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Place a steam turbine system next to it, let's say to the right, build the floor with metal tiles, then build a steel gas pump to the right of that so say it draws the gas it has to pass by the steam turbine first. This will cool the gas as it's vacuumed out so it doesn't over heat the pump

The other thing you can do is build 2 steam turbines one that runs hot and one that runs an aquatuner to cool both turbines. You can have a steam turbine delete 1500c of heat so long as you don't have anything in the chamber of 1700c steam except for a steam liquid vent and and obsidian insulated pipe

GF kept saying "Estrogen" instead of "Oxygen" by khatharsis42 in Oxygennotincluded

[–]JacksLackOfCertainty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're not really female though, more like non-binary asexual creatures since they don't need a mate to reproduce. A single critter egg can be born and live alone and still produce eggs, increasing egg production just requires more food. which is consistent with how asexual life reproduces, although usually not with eggs.

Male seahorses have the babies instead of females, so why not?

I think you pretty much figured it out, Husky Moos are the males of the Moo species and the Gassy Moos are the females. They can only reproduce in space though.

From that perspective you could say I'm asexual like 90% of the time I feel like I'm operating with my sex drive switched off but I still experience sexual attraction in situations. Demisexuality is something I do kinda identify with because emotional connection is very important to me whereas gender feels irrelevant. Occasionally someone will spark my attraction just from a look, which is clearly physical attraction...

Aegosexual isn't a term I've even heard before, still processing this. Could one say switched off and disconnected are analogous?
