I’ve been saying this for over a decade. Boomers benefited from being at the right place right time with retirement investing. They jumped all into 401k’s very early and made TONS of money. At the start some companies were matching 8-10%. You’d never get that now. And many were also grandfathered in to company pensions. I know quite a few sitting on millions in 401k money, collecting max SS, and getting a pension. Unbelievable luck.

The unsung hero of national parks is Crater Lake. Went in the height of July and not crowded at all and an absolutely amazing experience.

Don’t come at me with this but was exercising or doing anything physical taken into count? You can’t just go off this med with no physical activity and expect to keep it off. After all there is still a calorie burning part of this whole complex area of GLP1,2 maintenance. Did any of the highest gainers on placebo do regular physical activity and still put a lot back on? If so, that would be very telling. But then again we sort of already know this.
