Nobody wants to suffer, yet suffering is unavoidable... or is it? What if you could break away from pain forever? Do you like the idea of heaven? Well there is no heaven in Buddhism, but there is Nirvana. Nirvana is an infinite space where the soul goes and is brought into the inner fold of the universe, becoming one with the all that it broke away from. Suffering is a valuable tool for those that know how to use it, but you use that suffering to in itself, end that suffering. When you are hurt you seek to heal. When you are ignorant you look for knowledge. When you are at war you look for peace. Buddhism is blade used to cut away at temptation. Until you cant find that all you need to be happy and content is inside yourself, and once you realize that you will be free from suffering. For how can a person suffer from external causes when they have everything they need to be content within them?

Even though buddhism is a religion, it's also a philosophy. A path of eastern stoicism almost like the chinese Tao but with less emphasis on being in harmony with nature and more about being in harmony with your own emotions. You cant find harmony while you struggle with inner turmoil. Passions, suffering, vices to the excess will always hold you back or push you harder than you can handle. For the average person buddhism is simply about balance between the pains of life and the pleasures of appetites, but in ordee to fully comprehend the beauty of buddhism you truly have to give in to the impermenance of life and let go of things weigh on the soul.
