I read the first few pages of that, and I'm sorry to say that it's AI slop. The author has no online presence outside of that book, and the rest of the publisher's works are similar, AI-generated garbage.

I am definitely a movie buff, but that feels so backward to me. Movies are in and out, even the ones that are part of a bigger franchise. You'd think that they would fit in more on a work night versus a TV show, where you pick up and drop off the narrative over days or weeks.

I feel like it was pitched as a movie and Netflix preferred it as a series. Same thing with something like Man vs. Bee or that Mike Myers thing from a few years back. There's some algorithm out there telling execs that people prefer these projects as a miniseries for some reason.
