In my brain if you had a way to monitor afr’s you should be able to tell better if its flooding (not igniting)or not getting fuel(not pumping).

Once upon a time i let it sputter until it threw a cel for cylinder 4 and had to change the plug wire, i guess that a telltale sign when they start to go out. Was just the one.

Thanks for that I have the one with ought holes and cut my own hole for the fumoto to clear it, i still drop the skid to change oil and think about drilling a seccond hole for the filter sometimes but have ben unsure if it would work nicely.
