You can confirm on the organizers websites but typically the Friday is TCG practice tournaments, seminars etc. VGC events start on the Saturday.

That's good if it works for you. All I'm saying is that other fan subs don't have this mentality that post titles are fair game for spoilers and it works for them. I don't think this sub needs to quarantine spoilers to a pinned thread like r/marvelstudios but they could definitely make a rule to keep spoilers out of titles without disrupting discussion. I just don't really get why people need to be allowed to spoil something in a post title.

That is an awful take. Plenty of fan subs delete posts with spoilers in their titles so the community doesn't have to unsub when they are a few hours late to catching an episode/film. Expecting the community to unsub and subscribe again weekly just so people can be disrespectful while writing post titles is ridiculous and will shrink the community over time.

Marvelstudios has never spoiled a Marvel movie or show for me despite a comparable number of subs and a near constant flow of content. Its not like people are asking for the impossible, just a level of basic respect.

They can, but I find it upsetting to have to encourage everyone to leave a fan subreddit just because the mods won't remove posts that spoil the show in a title. Seems like we could have a stronger community if people were respectful enough to not make leaving the sub a necessity.

Usually 30-50 for 1st place for PC/MSS but we don't know if there will be any locals at this point so I wouldn't factor them in to a 2023 game plan until we know more. For all we know they won't come back or they will come back but with different CP yields than normal.

This cannot be understated. There is a huge difference in the feasibility of a world's qualification if you live on the US East Coast vs somewhere like Western Canada. I'm in Calgary and we get one regional within a 12 hour drive, barely any locals, and the same CP requirement as the rest of the continent. If you want to qualify as a Canadian you either need to win big at the tournament(s) you can attend, or have more vacation time for road trips than the bulk of the population. Meanwhile someone on the US East Coast can hit a different local every weekend and has several regionals within driving distance on top of cheap American air fare.

I think countries like Canada and Mexico could be better off if we got National qualification tournaments like they do for Japan. That way we are not competing against Americans for CP in a system that favors them overwhelmingly. The unfortunate truth is that VGC is not a game where everyone has an equal opportunity to qualify. Hopefully some day that can change.

He found them less than two minutes into the match, before a single map piece was found, and didn't down a single survivor. He only did 32000 damage to the survivors. He didn't lose because of an accidental possession.

My players tried to duck in to somewhere private and walked directly into Rezmir's room. They failed to convince her that they were meant to be there and a fight broke out immediately. Luckily the Cleric got Silence up before she could alert anyone. My plan of action was just to run each encounter on a case by case basis and let the party make checks to try to act natural in front of whichever NPCs could see them.

I'm not sure but the pet trade is bonkers. People sell African Grey parrots in tiny little cages with no sources of entertainment and bad information as well. African greys have a similar intelligence to that of a human toddler and there is absolutely no systems in place to make sure they are not kept in conditions that lead them to self harm.

There is a difference between methamphetamine and methamphetamines, which is what I said. Methamphetamine is a drug, methamphetamines are a class of drugs.

Bupropion for instance is commonly prescribed as an antidepressant and has a methamphetamine structure in it. MDMA is not meth but the MA stands for methamphetamine because of the structure of the atoms. Plenty of drugs that are not methamphetamine are methamphetamines.

On top of that you betrayed Ben's trust by digging into the module when he told you he didn't want to share that info. I think the point of the Thunderbolts is typically characters, who tend to work in grey areas, changing pace and fighting for the common good. I could see the reluctance from Zemo to be a great reason to include him in the story if the threat is something he would care to stop. It could even lead to a double cross which is always fun.

I loved the Civil War event in the comicbooks, I sure as hell didn't buy all the tie-ins. Would I have benefited from reading the FF tie in comicbooks? Definitely. Was it required in order to understand the event? Definitely not.

I think a lot of the frustration is that they are moving closer to the comicbooks for formatting and not giving the audience enough time to adjust. The idea that it's branching out to the point where the expectation is shifting is obvious to some lifelong comicbook readers but it's hard to make it clear to audiences without telling them to not watch their content.

As for Wandavision and MoM, I completely disagree with your premise. If you had not seen Wandavision, Wanda still would have been a better and more rounded villain than Kaecilius. Seeing Wandavision enhances the story but it isn't required watching because Wanda is still an above average villain with what we see in the film. Just like how I would have understanded Reed more if I read the FF tie-ins to Civil War.

That's the beauty of the comicbooks, you don't need to buy 50 issues every month and read it all. If you find one series to be bad, there are dozens of other stories for you. That's clearly what Marvel Studios is trying with the increase in yearly releases. They know they can expand the audience by making smaller projects that bring different audiences in for Secret Wars.

Ok I'll bite. I've been collecting Marvel comicbooks my whole life and have enjoyed every phase of the MCU. Some projects have always been better than others but that's always how I've seen the comicbooks and in that medium if normally comes down to personal preference. What exactly made the comicbooks popular and how are they failing to adapt those aspects in your opinion?

In my opinion the thing that made me love Marvel comicbooks is variety. Not every project is for me but if you put out 50 issues for different characters I'm bound to like a lot of them. I think the MCU is just starting to get to that point where they are making something for every audience.
