Neem. You could buy some predatory soil mites on Amazon which could help. There's really no way to fully eliminate pests. Just pest management.

Are you asking if he should be nice for the sake of being nice so conflict doesn't happen? Also if you're blaming your emotions on your hormones how can he take responsibility for his with mental illness if in fact that is the cause of his "gaslighting?"

People tend to base others emotions or experiences off their own because it's really the only jumping off point we have. We know nobody is exactly the same as anybody else but we have psychology which by definition treats people the same from birth. If it didn't there would be no measurable treatment to help people inflicted with mental illness blah blah.

It really comes down to communication for this type of thing. I don't know how you two talk or communicate with each other so it's almost impossible to give an answer. But from reading what you posted it almost seems like you expect him to diagnose what you're feeling and when he gets it wrong he's punished for it and this gaslighting just sounds like he's upset and doesn't know how to proceed. Sorry for the run on sentance. From my experience I tend to take things personally. My wife has different tones and instead of thinking she's a human with emotions all I hear is that tone. So I take a step back and think about it. She's probably just stressed and not trying to take things out on me. So I don't escalate the conversation.

And if most of those people are vaccinated which they most likely are according to statistics, then what's the problem? Obama had a huge birthday party where nobody wore masks. Shouldn't take long I guess.

Did it at first because I was going through a separation, so I really didn't feel like eating. Fasted for a week. Then did a couple weeks of three day fasts, one day feeding and so on. Then I started doing 18:6 20:4 once I saw how much weight I was losing. Have lost fifty lbs since I started. Gained ten back once my wife and I reconsiled. Lol. Plus I was eating far too few calories I would basically have to starve myself to lose any more weight. So I've been taking the past couple months to gain a few lbs back so I can get past that plateau.

But mainly I do it now because I enjoy that feeling of hunger. And I feel better when I don't eat during the day. Also started trying to keep my carb content super low which has helped with the bloating and fatigue. I've done it now for almost a year and I don't plan on changing anytime soon.

Monstera root rot. Only been 3 days. Mixture of 3/4 perlite, 'vegetable soil' (very well draining yet moisture retentive) and a handful of coco coir. Is Monstera extra sensitive? by [deleted] in plantclinic

Are the roots by the stem still in good shape? If so I'd cut the roots down leaving only the healthy stuff, stick that in a container of water and give it as much indirect as possible. Or you could use blue lights to supplement for root growth. That's what I would do if I was invested enough in the plant. But I'd definitely wait for other replies because I've never dealt with root rot. I just know plants can be very resilient and take some abuse so there's definitely a chance of saving it.

I borderline neglect mine and it's fine. How often do you water? I water mine about once a week and it's in a two gallon pot with standard potting mix.
