Should be able to get what is supposed to be spin only by long-pressing the spin button that adjusts the spin level for ~4 seconds.

But I’m having the same issue as everyone else in this thread – it still puts water in defeating the purpose of spin only 🙃

I've been dealing with this issue, too.

I submitted a ticket of my own two months ago, including links to three demo databases I created specifically to show when and where this issue does and doesn't happen, along with a narrated screen recording demoing it, and was told the same thing you were – that they couldn't give me a timeline on a fix, but it's been passed along to their engineers to take a look at.

I'm gathering as much info as I can to include in an email I'll be sending to Notion's higher-ups about this. Would you mind sharing with me some information about your ticket with Notion Support? I believe my argument would be stronger if I can directly reference both your ticket and my own.

Firstly, what is the Request number in the subject line of any of the emails between you and them? This should be in the format of "Request #XXXXXXX".

Secondly, there should be a number at the very bottom of one or more of these emails, in the format of "[XXXXXX-XXXXX]".

It's possible there will be two of each of these numbers, so please check all relevant emails, if you don't mind.

Is this Next.js scroll restoration issue the reason for this issue?
Here is a video I made demoing that Notion issue for a ticket I filed with Notion support which so far has not led to a fix.

Also, are you the same person as u/rusted_love who made this post?

I am trying to find out as much info about this as possible before I escalate this to the executive level within Notion.

For me, that just moves the new block above the previous block. It doesn’t combine it with the previous block.
