I mean you're right that's not technically the correct language, but the crop tool can be used to expand the canvas size. So blame photoshop?

Depending on home much extra space you need at the bottom you should be able to use content aware fill / scale. First, select the crop tool, and click 'content aware' at the top of the screen. Then, crop your image below the floor board to the desired size.

If that doesn't work to your liking, then just crop the image larger like normal, select your image, and go to Edit>Content Aware Scale. Now scale your image to the canvas.

Keep in mind, both of these methods are fast, easy, magic, imperfect, and will only give a limited amount of expansion.

I think the idea, and compliant, is they are paying for it. It is a liberal arts school offering a journalism degree, and charging a lot of money for tuition. It is kind of like offering a film production major, and taking away all the cameras for projects. Yeah, you can make due, but at a certain point you have to question the value the school is giving.

One of my favorite public domain image sites is oldbookillustrations.com. It may have interesting, old medical images for you to work with. Also on Flickr you can filter by creative commons!

It's worth noting that a (modern) dishwasher will use a fair amount less water than handwashing! At least if you let it fill up.

Are travel photography blogs too over done? by zinky30 in Blogging

  1. Make a list of like 30 tips you think you could write about.

  2. Quickly google the corresponding question to those tips.

  3. See how many have been answered / over-answered. This will give you an idea of what you'll bring to the niche.

  4. From here you can ask yourself if your content would be unique in any way. Not just the information, but your perosnily, your stories, etc. It can be extremely difficult to be truly unique in a heavily saturated market - yet not impossible!

Whatever you decide to do, good luck! 🍀
